Practise your English or Japanese in a relaxed social place!! Special focus language groups to suit your level of expertise. Social/friendship, cultural and sporting activities with friendly Kiwi and Japanese.

Conversation Nights.

The Conversation Nights are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, from February to November throughout the year. They are one of the main events organised by the NZJS, and are a great place to come and spend a pleasant evening chatting with friends and making new ones.

The idea is to come and practise your Japanese or English, while helping others do the same. It is a relaxed, informal atmosphere with lots of friendly people, and has become increasingly popular in recent weeks with numbers swelling to almost 100 attendees!
To come on a casual basis is $3, while for members it is FREE. We also give out information on upcoming events and supper is included.
